Ps: Akai should learn a lot from Propellerhead, they really know a thing or two when it comes to digital processing.

Really?

IMHO NI has only fond another platform to sell their low-price preset synths. Seems to me they don't fear to loose much potential Maschine customers with that move.

And I don't think folks will flock to the MPC now. But it may make an MPC a more attractive option to know that you can buy a variety of synths (and not only sample packs) ready for different genres.
