Mpc3 software release

Hey everyone, quick question—I might have misunderstood, but as version 3.4 is finally out (not the beta, the official release) what about the software version for PC and Mac? I can't seem to find it anywhere. It feels strange that they didn’t release it at the same time as the standalone version, or am I missing something?

They previously said that MPC Software 3 would arrive some time well after the release of the standalone firmware. Assume they wanted to ensure they were happy with the features before moving onto the software. Could be many months.

But yes, not ideal given that it's specifically marketed as a system where you can move a project back and forth the two environments.

Did Akai forgot to assign zoom on one of the q-links in grid mode? In Arranger mode it's there.
I'm using MPC x Se if that is relevant.

This renders this version unusable for me, since I spend a lot of time in grid.

Yes - this is driving me nuts today! Zoom works in arrange view but I imagine most people edit their midi/beats in grid view as it’s more detailed. No zoom on the q-links is really a bit oversight and I hope it’s fixed asap!
I also can’t figure out how to edit their q-links in screen control mode to work like they used to. ‍♂️

MPC 3.4 loses the ability to save separate drum kits per sequence, which exists in V2. I need this for live performance. For my usage each sequence is a song which can have separate samples which are played live on the pads.
Until this functionality is restored I can’t upgrade.

Yes, I can't wait for the software, even if I use the standalone version a lot.

Concerning the zoom on the Qlink, even in Arrangement, the horizontal zoom is on the 2nd Qlink bar, on the first one we find (the tempo, loop start, loop end and the vertical zoom), it's a shame.

Finally, concerning the zoom again, we need to be able to deactivate this "automatic zoom" when we press Overdub or Record, it drives me crazy, I work a lot in grid mode, and when we want to refine it is very unpleasant.
