Let's talk about the Advanced Keygroup

I ve been discovering the advanced Keygroup which turns the MPC into a fully sampler. The blend between the filter is awesome. The new matrix opens up for a lot of more options.

It's cool using two vocal filters in parallel getting modulated by lfo with a smooth blending into each other. I didn't manage to get the sample start to work. I ve tried with velocity, aux and the global lfo with s&h to modulate the sample start. haven t worked

Yeah, the sample start modulation didn’t work for me either. Hopefully I’m just doing it wrong and someone can chime in with a successful way of doing it.

I also wonder if the new Advanced Keygroups can do dynamic cross fading for things like violins fading from a quiet to loud sample via mod wheel. I’ll have to try.

All in all it looks really cool. I wish they would improve the actual key range setting and velocity range setting in more of a visual way like most software does.

I tried modulating the sample start with LFO 1 and couldn't get that to work.
But I did get it to work with Global LFO 1.

Cool! Now all we need is loop points as destination options and things are starting to get serious

EDIT: Oh and modulation amount for each destination as a destination option. Unless it's already there(?)

Is there a list of destinations somewhere in the user guide? I have looked but can't find it anywhere

How about moving the whole loop that's, say, 256 samples long, by steps of that same length. And with the loop transition happening at boundaries and/or with cross-fading, or whatever is needed to avoid clicks. Then it would work as sort of like a wavetable oscillator.

Interesting idea. I've created a thread for destination suggestions. Feel free to add this there along with whatever else you can come up with
