I picked up analogue dreams and cloud supply yesterday for £25 each.
Considering this is over 250 individual patches across the two, with a degree of licence to edit them, I've found them to be pretty good. I'm more than happy to speculate that amount for that amount of content, less than most expansion packs whilst bringing something newer to the MPC. Being able to record the X/Y input on a track is obviously enabling more expressive control which is also very welcome.
They're a little slow on loading (think Fabric loading times), and if you have already selected a patch and return to the browser window, you can't just select the title page and go back in (you need to select another plug in, then go back...it just won't allow you to re-enter for some reason). Of course, you can still scroll through patches on the tracks etc. so it's not too much of a drain.
I'm running them on a Live 2 which I've had for around 3 years now. I do worry about RAM sometimes but have only ever ran out once so that's not too much of a concern.
I'll likely buy more as I'm generally inspired by sounds to make music and spend a lot of time scrolling through what I have until something clicks, being able to mess around with them with more immediacy kinda opens it up a bit more for me too.
You can trial them so why not do that, then get the serial if you like them....if you don't you don't but as a synth player/programmer, I think they were worth the £50 I've already forgotten about spending.
