Using Tascam Model 12 with the MPC One

Hey. I'm a bit new to all of this. I own a tascam 12 which I love using with my mpc one + I also own an spk404 MK2. What I'm trying to do is have them all talk with one another without using a PC DAW rather just using the taacam 12 as the audio interface and DAW which it is. Can this setup only be able to work with an MPC live or above or are there midi options or a pathc bay option? What i like to do is have the mpc sequences use the sp404mk2 effects, record back and forth but again I'd love to have the use of the tascams USB interface. Any help or tips would be kindly appreciated.

just stating the obvious...
MPC out -> Tascam in, Process, Tascam out -> MPC in (aka a full round trip) will add significant latency.
With reverb this can often be tolerated, but not so much with dynamics or exact tempo synced delays, ymmv...

If the tracks end on the MPC (as a kind of master record), some tracks may require manual shifting on the timeline.
(unless every track passed the Tascam, then it doesn‘t matter)

If only some tracks were processed by the Tascam, you may create empty samples of appropriate length (measure once how long it takes/the difference) to be inserted at the beginning of the MPC only source tracks.

Not sure if this fits your workflow, but that would be my approach.
