Splice not working anymore

Have Akai abandoned Splice intergration ?

It's not working on my Live 2 , and since couple of days i've got a new mpc key 37 here
and also not working.

Only saying "Atempting to connect to network"

Take it as a sign to find/make your own samples.

hah , that isn't a problem .. i just can't stand it when something isn't working. i mostly use Splice for fx sounds and what not

check your MPC dns if 0.0.0.0 then manually change to 8.8.8.8

I just tried this and it did the trick !!
The DNS as not set to 0.0.0.0 to start. I set it to 8.8.8.8, validate, then force disconnect and reconnect. Splice connected immediately!

Good advice , but it can only done when the MPC has an ethernet port , and the MPC key has only wifi , still gonna try this one my Live 2 !

I believe it still works with wifi too. You didn't need a Ethernet to change your DNS.

Awesome info about setting to Google's DNS. I didn't think to try that. Let me try it when I get home and hopefully I can get my Splice going again. I know people clown on Splice, but they have some great packs and I mainly use the drum loops/breaks and some other random sounds from there. My main sampling I do from Tracklib which becomes like crate digging at a certain point. Thanks for the info fam!

the dns can't be maually set on the mpc key , only with ethernet it can be done .. but what i did do is made an Hotspot on my phone and connect the mpc through that .. and then it's possible to login again into my splice account

Yeah the Key 61 has an ethernet port. I set it to the Google DNS and its working now. Awesome! Still no shortcut from the "Browse files" icon, but I can just go to the drive in "Places" and access it that way.
