SO ALL OF U WHO HAVE GONE TO THAT LINK AND HAVE PURCHASED THIS, U MIGHT END UP KINDA MAD!

I posted this link, http://www.amtron.com/reader/iisdmc.htm
before, ASKIN ABOUT THIS and someone came on saying there were to many "READER QUESTIONS".

HMMMMMM this may be why there are So many reader questions!

Guess ill just go look for this FAMOUS Microtech reader that dont seem to exist.

So you asked them if it would work in the MPC?

Did they know what an MPC was?

That was me with the "too many reader questions" :D

And I've pointed everyone to this link below.

MPC Card Reader FAQ
http://www.midicase.com/card_reader_guide.htm

Do not buy "IDE only". Look for ATAPI or SCSI. IDE is non-removable
meaning it will work, but you will not be able to remove or insert the card
while the MPC is on.

It is impossible to list every possible configuration and compatible
drive but it's a good starting point that maybe just satisfy users.

" IDE ONLY UNIT in a IDE slot for PC!!! "

I would not expect anything more from a 1st level support making little more than minimum wage. MPC users have also gotten the same reaction when buying memory for our MPC for the past 8 years, "Sorry this memory is only designed to work in a PC". But it usually always works.

"Guess ill just go look for this FAMOUS Microtech reader that dont seem to exist."

Funny I have 8 of them here even after giving some away. It's also really funny that I have been taking about using and buying readers for MPC's for 5 years and no one paid much attention. At any time I was able to go buy a SCSI reader for under $10. All of a sudden everyone wants one and no one can seem to manage getting one. What gives?

dont ever do that one. Remain vague. I was looking for a scsi to usb adapter for my triton (it works) and they treated me like an idiot because they didnt even think the adapter existed......plus they where like WTF is a triton.

bastards.

That's why I asked, because I'm sure they would be like "what the hell is an MPC", "No it won't work, bye." lol

naw i never tell them what I am looking for a component for.
Just that I need to know if they have it or not.

yeah I been through the whole, "what the hell is he talkin bout think waaaaaaaay to many times"

expecially at those Big main electronic stores, like best buy and comp usa and stuff. Most people workin there today have never heard of SCSI!!!!!!!

It should work fine. Check my post from some days ago where I asked about IISDMC. Multiple brands use this thing.
