It seems that MPC Software does not allow dragging and dropping samples to other applications.
Additionally, samples within an MPC project exist in memory, so there are no actual files.

Found it: the tiny symbols on the top right create AUDIO and MIDI, which can then be dragged to the DAW.

But man, I wished, this hype with dark UI's would be over soon. Sometimes I just don't see the options, because everything's so dark.

It's like they took note of the issue with the overly bright UI of the Kronos and went completely overboard in the other direction

Not only Akai ... everbody's going crazy for dark UIs. Checked out Maschine 3, which doesn't even have contrast between different sections. Or Studio One ... although the latter offers options to switch the theme.

Anyway, glad that my desired option exists :worthy:
