Hi, I'm new to the forum, but not the MPC in general.

I picked up a used MPC X (OG) today and it took me a while to notice that the screen is off-centre and some of what should be on the left appears on the right edge.

Has anyone else had this and managed to fix it? Is there a screen calibration mode I can't see?

Thanks.

S.

Here's a pic of the issue. As you can see the left of the entire screen appears on the right hand side.

Any help greatly appreciated.

Did you try to reinstall firmware?

It looks annoying as hell and I don’t know how to get around that one.
Faulty screen
Faulty firmware
Faulty video from cpu
First time I’ve seen this on the forums.
Unsure.

Yeah, seems to be a pretty unique issue. Thanks for taking the time to look.

Yeah, that seems likely. Not sure how big a job that is, hopefully not too lengthy a process.

Akai should offer a longer warranty, especially for the X.

Yeah. We are looking into the ribbon possibility first. I tried to update firmware and switch between standalone and controller to see if it was a glitch, but no luck.

 :smoker:
I've been on a break since early Dec. I meant to put, "They have those gear teardown videos on YT."
I have a bad habit of not writing all the words in my head & not noticing it even when I read it back. Oops!

No, hoping 3.4.2 might fix it. Will update once I've found out, I don't have the unit at the moment.

Do you have a similar problem?
