1. Sample Edit/Chop features that Serato Sample offers:
a. Per slice pitch shift/time stretch with minimal artifacts. (no need to warp).
b. Per slice tempo synch.
c. Per slice Half Time/ Double Time.

2. Real time stem seperation (serato sample ish) if not in stand alone then definitely in the software 3.0.

3. Bounce a session to .als (fixed) and Bounce to Studio one session format.

4. Convert 2.15 sessions into 3.0 sessions (no bugs)

5. MPE functionality - (ableton push 3 ish)

- A shortcut to reset a parameter value back to 0! (double tap?)
- in the Keygroup mod matrix (but why not in any mod matrix): double tapping the the chosen Source or Target jumps straight to its dedicated view! (for example: i chose LFO 1 as source, double tap now i can manually change its speed)

I might be the only person using step sequencer, but a “parameter” layer for gate length. At its max it would be “one shot” but after that when you reduce the level, your sample gets cut short based on gate length.

There are many creative applications for this, it’s one of the regular tricks Aphex Twin uses, and doing this on an MPC in any other fashion is just way too complicated at present.

Time signatures: 3 (triple meter), 5, 6, 7, 9 (Karsilama) beats to the bar. Why not?
(NOT rocket science.... (sigh)

That is super slow and imprecise. Comparatively what I’m asking for would be much faster and more accurate.

Unless there’s some way to change note length in a way that doesn’t snap to the grid? That would at least be more accurate, if still slower.

Maybe I'm not getting what you're asking for, but the length that a note snaps to in the grid editor is based on the Time Division set in the TC settings. If you turn TC off & use Note End it will move 1 tick at a time.

 Can't wait to see how Andy Mac explains this one.

Also looking forward to hearing all the forthcoming 'crazy' time signature beats posted everywhere on social media, you know, like all the ones we used to hear when the MPC already had time signature support in MPC 2 and every other MPC before it.

Why do I not have a warm, fuzzy feeling about this? :-D

Track colors are now customizable... Anyone else thinks that the colors could be used in more places ? For example, the Track Mute screen currently has 16 yellow rectangles - wouldn't it be nice if those rectangles were the color of the track ?

And while I'm talking Track Mute, the muted state is currently a small "M" icon... I would like something bigger, more readable. What about the rectangle being bright with the track color - and, when muted, the same color but subdued ?
