MPC 3.0 Feature Request

can you change the master tune or pitch any/all of the plug-in instruments yet? or are we still forced to tune all of our samples from vinyl to an actual defined key so they match? I just think they should have added that since the mpc standalone doesn't seem to use a VST wrapper that may normally have handled that (back in the original DAW versions of the plug-ins)

if that hasn't been addressed, then i request that.

Some plugins, such as Fabric and MiniD, allow you to change the master tuning. Also, I believe that VST does not have a specification for setting the master tuning.

The step sequencer needs to be able to display more than one bar of events on screen. At the very least it should auto scroll the 16 steps as the sequence plays. Ideally need a view range or something so user can select the length. So bit like arranger but with more control over parameters for each step.

Would love a 8x16 matrix, maybe a drum stepseeqzncer. Like the oxi one or others.

Anything that gives us more than one bar and automatically scrolls rather than multiple button presses

I would like the Q-Links to work for the Sampler insert effects, instead of being completely disabled.

As someone who bought this mainly as a sampler, I like to play with effect chains while sampling instead of doing it afterwards, like guitar pedals for my sound sources. But it's a real headache using the touch screen when you pay $2k to get hands on q-link controls, and they are just completely disabled in sampler mode, while mapped literally everywhere else.

When Editing Multiple Samples/Pads together in PROGRAM EDIT (edit zone all)

Currently You can only do one pad at a time.

I would like to use DRUM FX on all pads at once.


Lately I have been do most of all my basic High pass or bass boost all in program edit DrumFX pages... but if for example you have 32 chops you have to edit each pad separately...

I like leaving my 4 fx Slots at the Program Level Open for other stuff down the road of the project...

In MPC3, the step sequencer screen now auto-scrolls by pages.

Please add outgoing MIDI feedback from the MPC 3 Clip Matrix so external controllers can reflect clip states via LEDs. Currently you can trigger clips via MIDI Learn but get zero visual feedback on the controller.
This would unlock native bidirectional support for Akai's own lineup: APC mini MK2, APC40/APC40 MK2, APC20, APC Key 25 MK2, and the Force. All of these have RGB grids designed exactly for this — it's a huge gap for live performance use.
