Hi...

I had to uninstall 3.4.1 because I couldn't get it to do any sort of working program change on a track (like changing to another preset in the middle of a track). It also wouldn't allow me to do anything in the automation lane that worked with PC's (it put a percentage, not a value in, and still didn't do anything).

I can't really use version 3 until this is fixed, as that's heavily a part of my work flow.

If anyone can let me know if they fixed this, I'd really appreciate it. The changelog said "Adjusting Program Change for a MIDI Track no longer affects the Program change value for other MIDI tracks in the project", but that wasn't really my problem. I couldn't get a working PC in the middle of a track

Thanks in advance.

Program changes we’re working for me the other day when I tried it with a few synths but it’s still a %. I have reported this to the devs. In the meantime it is registering 127 values, some clicks of the data wheel don’t change the visible percentage so the pc is added ‘behind the scenes’.

Are you putting them in in list view or automation grid? Just finding where you want it and put it in?

How do we figure out what percent is the right program, and is there still no way to change banks?

Thanks for responding!

I was using list view, was able to change banks using MSB. When inserting a pc event in list view, some data wheel clicks on the value don’t change the % but were clearly setting a different pc value. But you just have to test until you find the right click for the pc you need. It is stored, just not visually.
