Hi
I'm using the official Mpc 3.4 on my Mpc One +. Today I tried to control my track mutes with my Akai Mpk mini plus. As usual I open the Midi Learn page on my Mpc, choose my source (Jura Plug in) then my target (mute) type (toggle) and when I press Learn button and then my pad on my Akai Mpk it appears "Learned Jura (cc102) to Macro" but nothing happens on the midi learn page, no type, ch, data, flip info... its like its assigned on the air... I tried other knobs and other settings and nothing happens, the same message with the corresponding midi cc number, really don't get it, anyone nows something about this or its just an MPC 3 bug
Thanks in Advance

I had MIDI mapping working on 3.4.0. I'm not sure if I tried it on 3.4.1.

I'm curious as I use a LPD8 for track mutes - do you need to map that every time you use it or do the global midi settings save with the project file, so you need only set it up once?

Tracks are project dependend, but they are saved with the project.

Volume, pan, mute and solo for return tracks, submixes and outputs are IMHO the only thing that could be called global. Yet there is AFAIK no MIDI learn independent from a project.

Thanks for the reply, very helpful!
I've been having a hard time mapping the LPD8 in 2.15, plus track mutes don't work the way I'm accustomed to using them - so I'm going to go back to an earlier OS version that's more stable. Popular opinion is that Akai messed up somewhere with MIDI a year or so back in the firmware & my experience this past week has confirmed that theory enough for me at least!
