MPC 3.4.2 LFO feature request

key group, i noticed that lfos 1 and 2 are per voice, meaning that each time a new note is triggered that the start phase is different. with reset "on" it always starts at phase 0. just like the global LFOs.
would it be possible to have a mono-free LFO on the global LFO?
one that runs freely not triggering the start phase with note triggers?

and a native LFO modulation for FX or Q-Links?

You've just hit upon the issue I've been posting about for weeks if not months. Nu-Akai fundamentally don't understand the purpose of an LFO, and consequently they have been getting it wrong for about 20 years. The last machines with a true LFO were the MPC4000/Z8.

They think this is an irrelevant issue, well my boxed up, unused MPC X SE says otherwise.

In Keygroup XL, the Global LFO does reset, but if a long release is still active or the sustain pedal is being pressed, pressing a key doesn’t seem to reset it. By playing this way, it can be used like a free-running LFO.

Where I come from this would be categorized as a coding balls up.
