creating in arranger

Is there a way in Force to create an arrangement by specifying the scene you want and number of time you want it repeated. For example play scene 1 2x then scene 2 3x etc. I find the workflow of recording the scenes to the arranger in realtime to be limiting.

You can use scene follow in the MockbaMod OS hack. A good workaround is to create a track just for naming clips after song sections. Like clip 1=Intro, c2=Verse 1, c3=Hook ....c8=Outro.

Then make each of these clips the same bar length as the clip with with the longest bar in the scene that it's used. Now set your Launch Quantize to 1 bar or whatever works for you & just press each of these clips while recording to the Arranger.

I really hope they add more QOL improvements to the clip-matrix & the Arranger. The MPC has a song mode to arrange the sequences. The Force needs a Scene Arranger mode & a Longest Clip feature that plays the next scene when the longest clip in a scene is finish. They also need more Arrangers than just 1 & to be able to copy & paste automation data.

The keyword was "manually," meaning you hold Shift+Rec to record scenes/clips into the Arranger by pressing the Launch buttons or clip pads in whatever order you want. You can add/delete other parts later, so it doesn't have to be perfect the first time. I gave some tips above on how to be more organized via naming clips after songs sections.

Thanx for answering, and I would be really helped with some more details how to get scenes in the arranger. I know Ableton Live well, and there you could just drag a clip in the arranger window by mouse.

Now I know I can record a scene manually in the arranger, cut it to length and then copy it to taste with all tracks being treated like this.......

Maybe this is what you meant, and I just misunderstood.....

You can't drag & drop scenes into the Arranger, maybe that's a feature on the hacked OS. You have record them one by one.

A way to speed up the process is to temporarily turn up the tempo, but this won't work in all situations, like if your using audio tracks.

Do you mean track by track? I record a/multiple complete scene(s) in the arranger.
While record to arrange is enabled, I press record and hit the scene buttons right from the matrix.

We're saying the same thing. When you said, "Drag & Drop" it threw me off. I record into the arranger from the matrix 1 scene at a time. Never really right into it like people do on the MPC. I wish the Launch quantization wasn't limited to 8 bars.
