Help setting up the 2500 with record player and interface

What’s up everyone, I posted this on mpcusers on Reddit but got answers lol so hoping someone can guide me here!

I’m new-ish to sampling i picked up a MPC 2500 a couple months ago and have just been trying to learn it as best I can, using samplette for my samples but I’ve just ordered a Audio-Technics AT-LP120X USB turntable as I want to get into digging and using vinyl.

I needed a new interface too so I picked up an SSL 12

so my question is how do I hook these 3 up and what cables do I need?
I have a rough idea on how to but I just wanted some help just in case, the interface and turntable should be here in a couple days and I want to have everything ready by knowing what to do and what to have!

You will need a pre-amp or DJ mixer to amplify the phono signal. If you get a DJ mixer it probably has RCA outs, so you need RCA to jack cables. Regular jack cables for hooking up the MPC’s out to the SSL’s ins.

Lucky for you, I have this setup in my studio. This is how I would route things:

Record Player > DJ Mixer (via RCA)
DJ Mixer > MPC2500 [Sample in] (via TRS)
MPC2500 [output] > SSL 2 [Input] (via TRS)
SSL2 [output] > Monitors/Headphones (via TRS)
