I can think of a perfect use case for this exact scenario. I have an 8 bar looping chord progression. I want to record a melody over the progression as it loops over and over again. The melody is a lot longer than 8 bars.. i guess the easiest way to do it would be to track these in a DAW instead of doing it onboard the MPC?
