"simul play"??

Someone can tell me how to do in a song if I want (for exemple) the MPC to launch sequence 1 and 3 at the same time and then the second sequence?
I know I can switch simul play "on" but then it's armed for all the sequences isn't it?
Do I have to record something to achieve this?
If not (and I hope so) can someone explain step by step with this song exemple because I don't get it at all.

Seq1/seq3 ----> Seq2 ----> Seq4/Seq5 ----> Seq6

well its not realy used that way .. it's more of a speedy way to get things together like if you have the main grove/bassline on seq1 you can play it alongside other seq with dif things going on to see how they fit together .. or something like that ..
