JJOS OS Downgrade

I bought an 2500 which came with JJOS3, the workflow with the chops does my head in, is it possible to straight downgrade to JJOS XL if I dont have the initial key for JJ?

the license is stored inside the main board, no need to enter any password once installed the first time. just install os2xl and it will be fine.

I downgrade, upgrade between versions and operating systems all the time.
Never had any issue switching between them.
