I have a folder called drum kits on my external ssd. I saved 10 drum kits inside and all their samples have been copied inside that folder.

I want to delete one of the kits with all samples, if i press shift + delete file to that drum kit, the drum kit gets deleted but not the samples.

Is there a way to delete the drum kit with all it's associated samples ?

If the answer to this yes, what would then happen if a sample in this drum kit is also used in another drum kit?
Would that mean that that sample is now gone for this other drum kit as well?
And if it’s the case that some samples are used in several drum kits, could it be that this is the reason that the system doesn’t delete these samples because then other drum kits would be affected?

Hi, thanks for the input. That makes perfect sense why would we don't want to delete drum kits together with their samples. But I would still like to make some cleaning into my drum kits, or at least to have the new ones order in a way that i don't have duplicate samples.

Is there a way to save a drum kit without its samples, to have an absolut path to wherever the samples are located on the ssd. and if the folder structure of the samples changes and drum kits can't find samples to be able to auto search for those samples? This way we don't keep duplicate samples and can also delete a drum kit safety without keeping unused samples.

Is there a way of achieving this?
