The fix is to replace the power switch. Do you have soldering skills? If not, order the switch from MPCStuff and bring it to a local electronics repair technician.

I say pull the gray plastic power button off, and spray a lil bit of Contact Cleaner inside. Not alot. I've seen that work out a few times.
If that doesn't work, then a Power Switch Replacement may be in order

I got lucky. I sprayed Deoxit in the power button a few times, worked it in with a bunch of light presses and the power button has been good as new. Hopefully this works for you
