When I am in standalone mode, my midi ports, including an ESI16 that I have hooked up through usb, all work perfectly fine. But when I go into software mode, none of the ports, either the ones on the mpc or the esi show up on the preferences page. It's gone on for a few versions of the software/firmware, but I haven't been using my computer much. I tried reinstalling the drivers, the software and now even reinstalled windows and its still not fixed. Does anyone have any ideas?

Same problem here. I am trying to use this in Reaper using the MPC VST, and none of the MPC ports show up in the VST. The only option for output ports is DAW. I am able to access the ports from Reaper itself but not from the VST.

Surely there is a fix for this.

I got it figured out. I'm using RDP (Remote Desktop Protcol) as a monitor, and RDP does something weird to Windows 10 midi. When I hooked up a regular monitor, it worked fine. So not an MPC Software issue, a Windows 10 issue. I hope that helps someone.
