Key61, 3.4.2, I’m able to see my installed ssd, controller mode, on Windows 11 pc. On PC I’m using the same display link drivers for mpc since maybe 1yr ago.

MPC X, 3.4.3, I’m able to see my installed ssd, controller mode, same pc as above.

Maybe update the display link drivers and/or reinstall them.

On both mpc’s I updated from 2.15.x via wifi (didn’t use usb update).

After this test I took time to update Key61 to 3.4.3, and yep, still able see my installed ssd in controller mode.

I did the same thing except Im in win 10. I was able to see and drag my sounds to the installed ssd. Now, I just see looking for computer and when I plug a usb external or sd card, my pc immediately picks it up, but its not showing the installed internal ssd since I updated to 3.4...

Did the sata drive die?
Did the sata cable somehow come lose (I doubt this but check anyway)?
Can you take out the sata and connect it directly to pc somehow?
Do you have another sata drive to try?

These are things I’d try if it were me.

I've found that sometimes the internal drive takes a very long time to get mounted on my PC. still worth checking your usb cables, giving it some time to mount (I sometimes wonder if it's just doing a filesystem corruption check), or see if it mounts properly directly on your pc.
