Sampling Numerous Sample's Simultaneously

Hey everyone X!

I'm not sure if this is possible with the new MPCs in standalone mode.

My question specifically is; do the current MPCs have the capability to sample each audio stream(or a certain amount say 10), onto their own pad, that has been assigned to an individual track, in standalone mode? If not, is there a workaround besides audio tracks?

Would be great feature if that is possible, could be an alternative to audio tracks, to laying down arrangements that have been produced on another device like a workstation, a kind of pseudo multitrack recorder using the sampler instead.

Perhaps a feature that could be added to MPC3 If there is a possibility that it's capable to do so.

The reason why I have not tested this out myself, is because I have been away from my MPC for months, so I have just been dreaming about the possibilities instead ! Thanks for any info!

To record multiple streams at the same time, you need to use audio tracks. The MPC sampler can only sample one input at a time.

What would be the advantage using the sampler instead of audio tracks? Is it just the 128 potential tracks?

Yeah, I think that would have been great if it were possible. To sample the 32 audio streams simultaneously would be a neat feature!

I would have thought it might be possible due to the multitrack capabilities with audio tracks.

A lot of gear could be sampled in one go, allowing for on the fly sound design possibilities I would imagine

You could the use it a a digital mixer & recorder with 4 FX on on each 32 input. That's sound like something they're saving for the gen models. Hopefully Akai will make their own model of audio interfaces with different amount of in/outs up to 32 in/outs. So more interface drama & most can't even do 32 in/outs.

That is a cool features, it does open up so many possibilities.

Now Akai, sort something so we can sample those streams separately and simultaneously. I demand that right now
