Mpc live version 3.4.3 - No sync on LFO

Hi - an MPC noob here. So I've got a brand new Live 2 just finding my way round the new software and workflow. I created a fresh project, loaded a drum track and tried to get an LFO on a single pad sample to sync with the beat and I can't get it to work - beat is a standard 2 bar loop, the LFO pad has 4 notes recorded and all quantized. The LFO is set to sync at quarter notes with pitch being modulated by the LFO which I expected to move in time with the beat but I simply can't get it to work. Anyone out there experiencing similar issues?

Is this a drum or keygroup track? If keygroup, which lfo are you using

Hi MPC Tutor, thanks for the response. I am noticing this on a Drum track. Keygroup seems to work OK using a different LFO menu - however on the drum track I just cannot get the LFO to work in sync. I have tried loading different samples and running different speed sequences etc but to no avail. This is regardless of destination effect used (pitch, volume, filters) , so not clear what is going on here.

The pad’s LFO resets with each trigger.

That's just the problem. It neither runs in sync, nor resets with trigger. It runs loosely out of sync.
