This might not be MPC5000 specific, but I recently bought a collection of MPC drum kits in ".pgm" format and 16 levels doesn't work on any of them. When a pad is activated, it plays at a set level across every drum pad with no change in velocity. Kits I've made myself work correctly, so it's not a hardware issue, but probably a setting in the program. Does anyone know what would cause this?
