How to clean pads ?

Hey, some time ago i've finally got my own 2000xl, first thing i did was open it up, remove all ugly stickers, undust and clean, check caps on ps etc etc.

it came with black pads, and i've found everything on these, cat hair, dust, cheetos leftovers - after cleaning with hot water and soap - this s**t still there like glued!.

I'm in love with my 2kxl but do You know any good solutions for cleaning rubber pads ?

Yeah, it will be best to replace them, but i still want to try cleaning, parts for legacy mpc in europe are hard to find and overpriced.

Try some cleaner with a high degree of the substance mentioned above, usually cleaning substrates used in professional context (not home cleaning as found in supermarket).

In previous day i've tried cleaning rubber with hot water and a LOT of dish soap rubbed with dish sponge, scrubbing like mad, repeated 2 times and pads are clean.
