MPC 4000 Ribbon Cable Connected to Display, where to buy?

I am wondering where I can buy a replacement ribbon cable that connects to the MPC 4000's display and the I/O board. According to what I have found, the part number is the following:

Service manual part number - EW-821444X CORD FFC P1.25 L480 14P

But when I search "MPC 4000 Display ribbon cable" online, I cannot find one anywhere. Where can I buy one? I have replaced my MPC 4000 screen twice and the lines on the screen are exactly the same on the displays, so this leads me to believe that this is an issue with the ribbon cable.

You probably guessed it from the end of the number:
length 480mm, pitch 1.25 mm, 14 lines, iirc conductive parts are on the same side and 400mm will also fit.

If the cable isn‘t broken and only the (open) conductive section is worn, it takes about half an hour to „refresh“ the cable.
Essentially this means to cut off the bad end, fix it to a table edge with double adhesive tape, carefully sand off (fine grain, 240 or so) half an inch, cut perfectly rectangular and strengthen the back by some stiff, thin tape.
The trick is to not sand into the black conductive ink. The blade of a cutter knife or a classic razor blade are useful for the final part.
Good illumination and a good magnifier glass help a lot.

Yeah I hate to say it man but I had the same issue a year ago and it took almost a half year to locate another. I think I ended up finally getting one from mpcstuff.com but I either purchased his last one or I had to continually email him to check when he finally got it(can’t remember if it was that or the screen board I needed too). Of course he shafted me on the price (I wanna say like almost $40) when they typically sell a full pack of them for less than $10. Tried to modify the damaged one I had but it’s super tedious trying to do it without the prongs coming back up. Wish you luck
