Anyone going to Superbooth?

Just rocking up with my oldest, he's studying sound design at uni ATM so thought he might like it (along with a nice few days visiting the sights of Berlin).

I didn't realise akai were going to be there, they weren't listed last I looked. I'll pop over and say hi and ask them about the MPC Live Mini.

Akai announced a public beta for 3.0 desktop software will come in May.

Release/announcement at superbooth? A man can hope.

I’ve been working in mostly in controller mode for a couple years now and too don’t use any other daw. At this point I’m hoping they bring out an updated improved studio. The studio2 is trash

I used to hook up a Studio (silver) in controller mode, but I got the back of it signed by DJ Shadow, and the small heat from use started to fade the signature.

Now I just use my Live in controller mode 99% of the time.

An improved studio would be cool though, Studio 2 looked like a bit of a step back, imo

I was going to buy a used studio OG but people are asking way too much lol. I’m using the One+ but it’s a piece of shit with the touchscreen randomly not working every other session. It’s the 3rd one I’ve gotten cause the other 2 had issues too. Really don’t know if anybody uses the One + with all its issues….
