Hi guys, I'm new here, recently owned an MPC ONE+ and have been trying to find my way around ever since. I now have a problem with the sequencer. I'll try to explain it. I created a drum set with wav Files (USB stick) and used it to use the pads. Now I have created sequences in the sequencer (16Steps) for some of the pads. Now it has happened that in some sequences some steps (1, 5, 9 and 13) are not played but simply nothing can be heard. I use another sample on the pad I also hear nothing, I occupy with the sample another pad I hear a sound and the sequence is played. So far so good. Now I was so brave and just created a new drum kit and did it all over again. Go..... thought.... Again the same problem. The single step in the sequencer is not played when the head runs over it. But if I move the individual steps (1,5,9 and 13) to the left or right, there is a sound. I shove the steps back, no sound. I didn't change anything else. I used default settings. I have the feeling that every single step is mute. It has to be basically only because of the sequence in question, other sequences work. I want to understand it and not repeat everything again. I speak German and used a translator.

Maybe you have some sort of automation recorded. Try clearing the automation on that track.

Is there a special menu? How do I get there, how do I find it? What I would absolutely not understand, I created an empty drum kit and only occupied the pads with samples. Where does that come from then? Since it has already happened repeatedly.

The List Editor. Scroll the thru the different parameter view options. It's also in the Grid Edito, but you'll have select it in the lift up that tab to show the hidden window. Normally it set to Volume.

You can also try typing in Clear Automation in the PDF manual search engine.

All automations.

Your hunting right? Check ‘em all.

Let’s find that Pokemonautomation..

I have now tried to find something in the sequencer, I was also in the Grid View. Automations can be found in the list, but they refer to the grades. Nothing is muted in the sequencer. So nothing that I could have set myself. That's just too much.

I can also take a few photos, but you have to tell me what, I'm totally overwhelmed.

Let's uncomplicate this for the new guy.

If you hold erase down you can select "automation" from a scrollable selection in the popup menu to clear automation from your currently selected track.

You can also scroll each param that has recorded automation by switching "ALL" to whatever param is in question. It's also a nice way to see if you accidentally recorded some automation somewhere you are unaware of.

Also at the top of the screen there is a little red or green icon, when its red your automation params can be recorded, when its green it is disabled so no automation is captured. So for good practice keep it green until you need to record in automation or you will continually encounter automation bugs in your projects and always wonder why its happening to you.

The Button is Green, so its disabled

Erase button on physical hardware, hold it down.
