ebay sucks

had my eye on a mk2 v.20 no scsi & don't think it had the mem upgrade + the floppy drive was busted, on ebay but someone got it for £500 ($950).
If the buyer is a beatmaker he's gonna have to pay at least $200 more just to use it! Sad thing is I'm betting the guy's a trader and is gonna sell it again for some more $$, fair play but it's annoying cos these pips are pushing the prices thru the roof. ah well such is life

See my last two posts in the "Just got an MPC 60 is this a good price thread" just below this one. I said the exact same thing. It doesnt make any sense.

You don't have to pay that much for it, you can wait. If the prices go too high then people won't pay or cats wil try and sell their 60 and flood the market. Either way prices go down. I wouldn't sell mine for $4G's.
