v3 and midi feedback with routing now possible?

Can I now do this with v3 pls??

With a midi note only kit.. (with the layout I like) have it control multiple kits with the standard layout (for K/S/HC/HO) i.e. a custom drum synth and another normal kit. i.e. if I press the kick pad on the midi layout kit, and it then plays a kicks from two other kits in a layer together.

On the old version I would need to program an external midiHub, and send the midi to it and then send it back in. I don't have a MPC anymore, but am thinking of being one again. Is this now possible? This would really suit my workflow.

if I understand correctly, you want to send midi from one track to another via "send" option on the "master track" itself and you could do it in 2.x as well (?)

Why didn't you put all the kits in the same midi channel?

I.e. my finger drumming pad layout is not the standard. And I want to flip kits, and not have to rearrange my KIK\SNR\HHC\HHO pads every time.

Also if memory servers me, the drum synth and standard kits don’t share same pad layout?

Use a dummy drum track and edit its note map. Then, set that track’s Send-To to any track you like. (This was possible in MPC2 as well.)

Is it possible if the midi sequencer is external to the mpc? I use a different device to midi record and loop midi sequences.

The MPC is only used as an external sampler/synth/midiController in my workflow.

I think it should be possible if you set the Dummy track’s Send-To to a Drum track, and then set that Drum track’s Send-To to a MIDI track.
However, with that kind of workflow, I believe the settings could get complicated to avoid MIDI loopback issues.

Is this a convoluted way of asking if the MIDI Note Off bug has been fixed? Because it hasn't.
