I've used the "Hype" Plugin and recorded the tunes / melody onto the track, when i was happy with all the settings i've made in the Program Edit and in the Pad Perfom.
The next day i made some adjustments to the Plugin i'm using on the track, just to experiment a litte bit more with the sound etc.

Now my recorded sound from the beginning sounds actually the way i wanted it to be. Unfortunately the current settings from the plugin play a different sound than the recorded version, i guess because i have made some adjustments afterwards. Now i can't figure out what settings i've made in the beginning and i'm stuck with a different sound. How can i solve this problem ?

Thanks a lot.

MPC One / Firmware 2.15.1 / Don't see any automation i've recorderd accidentally

For example when i change the scale & octave settings in the pad perform it doesn't affect the melody that i've recorded with the first settings. Unfortunately the settings i've made after the recording remain in place and don't go back to it's original version i've recorded.

Pad Perform has nothing at all to do with the plugin's sound quality. Nor does it have any influence on something you've previously recorded. Further, pad perform settings are not memorized... they always default to A Major when you power up, load a new project, etc.

Thanks a lot for your replies which are very helpful. So that means everytime i switch off my mpc and than switch it on again i have to find the octave and settings again in the pad perform when i want to play some different notes in the same harmony ?

If you've overwritten the project after making changes to the plugin settings, unfortunately there's no way to revert to the previous values. To avoid this kind of issue, it's a good idea to save the project using "Save As" or to save the plugin's preset beforehand.

Also, Pad Perform settings don’t affect already recorded MIDI data. (I can't remember exactly how it worked in version 2.15, but in version 3, Pad Perform settings are saved within the project.)
