Live 2 tracks are bleeding over

Hi there,
On my MPC LIve 2 using the newest operating system 3.4.3, I have several drum tracks. Let's say track one is just kicks and track two is hats. When I hit the pads in track two, it triggers the pad's hat, but it also triggers the kick sample from track one. All of my projects are like this, in some varying form. I've gone through all of the settings and can't figure it out. It has to be a global setting, but which one.

Please help, I'm desperate!

I'm not familiar with MPC 3, but it sounds like you might've (mistakenly) layered your drum sounds.

Im not sure thats the case, this is out of the box behavior that I didn't set up. I just got the live 2. Also, my old projects from my previous mpc have the same problem.

BTW...you didn't offer a solution. If in fact what you say happened, how do I fix it?

Also, if I solo the track, I hear the sample I'm supposed to with no added sound. But as as soon as I take it off solo, I hear both sounds

I figured it out. It was in the midi section of preferences. I had to disable one button and enable "control".
