Noticeable latency

Well, you got me there. i wasn't in the new MPC game in 2017 - I just hopped on the MPC One train some weeks ago, so I admit my wrong there sir!

I measured the MPC One’s pad latency and was surprised to find it was as high as 15ms. I initially thought this was specific to MPC3, but it turns out the latency hasn’t changed since version 2.5 back in 2019.

Iirc the internal buffer size is 128 samples @ 48000.

48/128=2.66666667 ms -what you should be getting between pad and speaker unless the buffer size is incorrect 512/48 is closer to 10ms. (shitty extrrnal soundcard used?) in order for this test to be valid your capture source needs to be on par with 128 samples @ 48000 or it will show you its latency issues.

I'm using the same method as described in the post below for the measurement. I've confirmed that there's no latency between the mic and line input.

As a side note, I measured the ep-133 using the same method and got 4ms, so there's at least a 10ms latency difference between the ep-133 and the MPC.
