Instead of speaker everything is shifted down and has 8 Q links across the top with displays like the Force/ X. Its called the Akai MPC Live III. Has a battery. Intergrates with the APC64 seamlessly so you have pads and clip launch etc like the Force. Retail is 1599.

You heard it here first. Let's see more youtube and instagram posts.

 You see what you started?

Tariffs are currently 125% on most Chinese manufactured goods, but the tariffs on Taiwan (where the MPC is actually made, according to the sticker on my Live II and Force) is 32%, but two days ago Taiwan announced that it had just completed a first round of negotiations with the dear leader great orange potus.

That said, dear leader potus cheese wiz had paused tariffs (at least on goods from Taiwan) for 90 days, so if Akai has been running manufacturing for a few months and has started to build up inventory on US soil, that inventory would be 100% exempt from any tariff-caused price increase. So the moment the alleged new MPC goes on sale in the US, potential buyers should jump on it stat before tariffs actually do kick in - unless the tariffs are dropped altogether by then. That said, I'd wager some parts for the MPC come from China and may be hit with a tariff of some sort, so...

This concludes my Ted Talk armchair financial analyst assessment.

Or cmon up to canada and bring some music gear so when we send you home with your newly imported dope ass tarrif free gear you can smuggle it back home. There is no tarrif here, come to canada buy it. throw the box away and act like you brought it with you when you came to canada.

Have border security call me and ill tell em you were staying with me on vacation and we were working on music for fun. Hell tell them I gave it to you...

That's why ATA Carnets exist. Most touring musicians in the UK weren't even aware of them before Brexit. I'm guessing US/Canada are about to go through a similar learning curve...
