But I hope they make some cosmetic changes to the new Live; cos I think the side view of the live looks kinda ugly, and the shape in general of a rectangular block dont look the best.

I think if they gave it an angled slope like the OG MPC 60 that would give it a better viewing angle for the screen and negate the need for a flip screen or for people to put the live on an angled stand.

Also I would like to see them maybe dip back into the MPC Touch design; and maybe add some red to the back of the device to give some contrast in colour.

his name is geoff smith and according to linkedin, he is still the product ownder of the akai mpc.

years ago i saw a youtube video of him, modding his mpc 4000, attaching a touchscreen to it. i believe he is one of the reasons why we have touchscreens (not a fan) on the current line of mpcs...
