Akai Pro Network MIDI: Ableton failing to STAY connected

Anybody got any luck controlling Ableton 12 with the Ableton control app inside the MPCX Standalone?

I could never manage to make it work personally, so I stuck with MIDI DIN + MIDI interface.

The lack of direct USB MIDI support for computers on anything but the MPC key 37 so far has been the MPC's biggest weakness, as a standalone sequencer. I simply do not understand that technical choice, when the MPC Live released in 2017.

Works great for me, but the connection/sync crashes pretty consistently and forces me to restart my MPC and Ableton.

I been getting good results once I uncheck the the auto connect and type my own address!

I purchased a USB A to Ethernet cable

I'm on the same boat with my MPC One Plus where like for anybody I can see the Ethernet option but only Wifi avail as comunication device for Live Control (?) I managed to install the Akai Network Driver ( FOund ) and it find the machine just right and through my Home network I managed to test the Live Control but it is really unreliable as it disconnect so much and it takes ages to reconnect so I was thinking of a more direct connection like Bluetooth? Anyone succeded in a stable connection? what about the USB to Ethernet adapter? I guess the port to use would be the USB type B ?
