MPC3 Tutorial: Using Slice Motion on Vocal Samples

Dam ... this feature is massive ... dont know why this isn't highlighted more ... now I feel like I have to wait until Akai show up with next their generation (Im expecting this will happen in weeks ..

Not much info on it in the manual ... care to attach more info on this.

Like what are the options within slice motion
I assume you can use layers with slice motion
so 4 x slice motion on one pad ...or simultaneous pad link (and use mod matrix per pad .. then you have pad off triggers .. I mean this is so massive

Did you follow the tutorial ? It explains the main parts of the feature, I also have another example in the mpc Bible 3

Yhea .. But it does not reveal what options are possible..

set MOTION: Increment, with CYCLES: All.

Can you select what slices play under Cycles?

MOTION: Increment

Are the options here just randome and or increment?
... snake or revers be fun


and I get: slice 1 is where playback starts ..

Anyway just dope and with layering you can get into polymeric stuff ..

Just looking at some videos now (flex, half speed, beat repeater) and it's just an incredible sampler .. Cant believe I almost abandoned ship
