List of Working/Non Working Class Compliant USB Interfaces

Can anyone recommend a simple 4 output (Jack outputs only, please) audio interface that works on all outputs with the MPC One? I've tried an Audient ID14 and can only use outputs 1/2. Need a third to send a click track to a drummer in live performance.

I'm trying to stop myself getting a Live II just for the extra outputs

Does not work as a multitrack interface with MPC unfortunately. That's why I'll sell mine..

I've just tested the following interfaces with the latest v3 on my MPC one:

* Zoom R16
* Zoom Q8
* Tascam DR-40x

All of them play and record audio just fine. The Q8 added some latency on monitoring the audio input but recorded it fine... It surprised me, since it's a video camera with mics and audio inputs.

The R16 works like a charm. Even the bundled mics sound crystal clear.

The Tascam, I have to test it a bit in more depth, but seems to work.

Are you in the US? I haven't turned on my Live in ages, the UMC1820 I bought to go with it is just sitting in my rack taking up a space I need for another 1176 clone heh. Was thinking of getting rid of it since I am never going to use it with Cubase.

The Behringer UMC204HD seems to work.

My focusrite 18i20 also seems good.

I plugged in an old E-MU 0404 USB interface into the mpc key 37 and it works perfectly. I haven't tested the digital inputs and outputs yet.

Ever since mpc3.0 the Zoom L8 no longer works. It can be recognized but there is terrible popping and hissing and the audio cuts out sometimes.

Huge bummer, it seems like mpc3.0 just doesn't really work with anything right now....

It may not help, but did you reset your preferences while on 3.0?

Happy to report the Antelope Zen Go TB working great.

Force - Firmware 3.5.0
Force -> Powered USB hub
Zen Go (usb c) -> USB Hub
Zen Go - Clock Source = USB
Zen Go - Sampling Rate = 44.1

The first attempt changing the audio device the sampling rate showed 192 with an error on the Force. Clicked ok looked down and the 2 units synced at 44.1.

Play and Record are working great.
The only thing have to remember to do is change the Force track output channels to 3/4 as the computer outputs are set to 3/4 in the Zen Go session. If I use 1/2 there is feedback. I'll probably start a new template with 3/4 as the defaults for all tracks.

Anyone know if the Focusrite 8i6 ever worked properly? I saw in the official list, the one person who commented about it said pops and hisses, but I wonder if they every got that fixed.
Was thinking of getting one if ittl work. My 4i4 3rd gen doesn't have dedicated power so when ran through mpc or force, it disconnects after a certain volume. I just don't think it can supply enough power.

A possibly interesting discovery - for some usb sound cards that have their own mains supply, I've found the the clicking/popping is related to an interaction between the power supply used for my MPC key 37 and the sound card power supply - I have previously modded my MPC key 37 to run on an internal battery (has a jumbo 5Ah pack inside), and the popping/clicking I was getting all went away when I simply unplugged the mains supply to the key37 (leaving the power supply for the sound card as it was required) - but it might explain some variable results I've seen as this kind of interference is very dependent on the power supply model, possibly even individual power supply, and other environmental/noise factors. So before concluding a sound card is 'bad', might be worth trying some different power supplies, especially if you're using an aftermarket supply.

but the zoom r20 doesn't work anymore with latest firmware 3.40 -> a lot of crackling i don't know what's happening

Just received my Soundcraft UI24R, does not work with the Force. The Force stated that the connected device can not work @44.1KHz. The UI24R runs @ 48KHz......

I keep it anyway, as the Force can not record 10 audiotracks anyway, coming from my new Behringer RD9 (a TR909 clone). So I mix and pan on the UI24R, maybe add some FX and then send a stereo mix to the Force.

Anyone know if the MOTU MicroBook II will work with MPC Live II and ONE + ?
