Can you load drum patterns into MPC Key 37

Hi all,
I've used Maschine hardware for a while and love the expansions, especially the ability to load the patterns and not just the sounds. I'm a singer/songwriter/keyboardist so spend less time programming my own beats but utilise the patterns from the expansions.
I recently bought the MPC Key 37 and am loving it but struggling to see how I can load drum patterns rather than just the sounds. Is this possible? If not with MPC drum kits than with converted Maschine kits??

You can load midi files and mpc pattern files from the browser. But the kit’s midi note layout needs to match the midi assignments in the midi file,e.g. the kick midi note must trigger the kick pad in your kit and so on

What happens, if you have program change and other midi commands in your file? Do they get ignored or stripped? thx in adv
