Was completely pointless for Akai to be at superbooth and it was a similar story with Elektron. Just a table with the current line up of products on display, nothing new whatsoever (and no Akai Force, despite an impending Force 3.4 firmware release, so take what you want from that).

UHE gave me a free t-shirt so they win the prize as the best exhibitor.

Funny seeing all the familiar youtubers walking around, like Cuckoo, BoBeats and Audiopilz ('Bad Gear').

Dam shame; so we are back to square one; but I am still hopeful of some hardware disclose before the end of May.

Absolutely. Plus, I believe the FCC filing was in January - it's entirely possible that Akai has decided to cool their jets since then regarding a full-scale product rollout until this tariff bullshit stabilizes and they can more reliably cost out manufacturing & distribution.

the FCC filing was in April; but yeah could well be Tarriffs made Akai pump da breaks on hardware.

In which case they can just still focus on the Force upgrade, the desktop software and the 3.X software

All this!
First thing first.

Nobody needs a new MPC. Most of the people wanting it just want new shit because they're in GAS mode & won't make no dope shit if they were to get it early. **** catering to them & fix the shit that already out & add back the missing features.

The chip shortage years ago & the current Trump BS is a blessing for the tech industry & community. Too much new gear is Kool-aid with too much sugar. This situation forces companies to really focus on what really important & a new MPC & it right... tho it still sell anyway because GAS ain't no joke.

Ah yeah you're totally right, it was the "Y4O-TX09B" device filing that was January.
