I was using the MPC three and all of a sudden it shut down and when I reloaded it, it said well I tried to do the start over thing couple times and do what I was trying to do over and it just kept shutting off so then I think I shut it off and try to turn it back on and now it was saying error loading my project How do I fix this or is there a recovery file the temporary file or something by having any solutions?

She gone... *throws up peace @ the wind*

If the temporary file isnt loading it's probably corrupted the project. It's not very common but if the system ran outta cpu when writing the backup it would be an incomplete write. I personally turn that feature off because I find it adds a weird little hiccup to things. No backups if it dies it dies.

A scenario where it may happen: Say you're using 90% cpu during playback and the system is currently playing the song and the machine tries to run its project backup service and it drives the cpu to the brink and it segfaults during the i/o process. I always save my work after tapping double stop for this reason.

I know that's a lot of "ands"... I am not very articulate at times, it is what it is.
