But it IS.

Go watch the movie Sinners(Look how many people spent their money because MBJ and RC did it FOR US

We spending our last dollar on a MPC that may or may not reinvigorate our invention... HIP-HOP.

Black American music is Rap music. It got swallowed up by Gangs. -------- Life or Death.
The radio(US Gov) pushes this death and we need X-Clan 2025

If you build the MPCX with the MPC3000/60 and SP1200 ANALOG circuitry we could push warmth faster

LOVE is serious.
Nostalgia in 2025 could happen at a big scale
Catch up to FL Studio tech without having to become a converter(pun intended).

What I find odd is no thread on the MPC LEGENDS from the MPC FORUM :smh:

I know why...

You can hide but go watch Sinners

THIS GUY Andy Mac told a BOLD FACE LIE at 3:00 and we STILL have not got that Analog "Circuitry" from the vintage MPC to the MPCX SE and ya'll rarely clown the OTHER shills that had to make goofy MPCX SE "thumbnails" and sell BETA hardware so of course brothers will get to squabbling amongst one other.

This dude LIED and told us we have the MPC3000/60 sound if we press the button on our MPC Renaissance and I bet my whole bank he looking at ya'll whole page on Ave being called out as this goofy; fighting with his brother, but it's "crickets" or now even admiration for Andy and Akai snake oil and SE model sellers on YT because you identify with their genre of music? You don't think Andy reads....... Wait.... One of you IS an Akai insider so flush THAT out.

I'm white and from Australia, but live in Europe. That's nice you claim your roots and that you have had exposure to such locales that spawned a lot of talent. Hip Hop is worldwide man in 2025. It's not a zip code, or a skin colour, it's a state of mind. A lot of trap, rap and whatnot is also terrible from ATL, NYC. Just sayin'. As someone who has travelled the world, over 40+ countries, you get to see what unites people, not what divides them. MPCs, Hip Hop, that unites us. I'd rather see the world and the people in it that way.

I agree to an extent, but the black roots of hip hop is often white-washed back in the US among many people. Same thing happened with blues. I strongly encourage you to check out the film "Sinners" by Ryan Coogler. It's not only wonderfully acted and brilliantly executed, it covers a lot of what the black community has lived for the better part of modern history (well, aside from the whole vampire part).

Jazz, funk, soul, motown and r&b have always been multi cultural music.

Yeah well we are all hip hop heads, with minds and thoughts of our own. mpc is rooted in hip hop so its no surprise you find people who have their own original ideas in a community such as this.

back to the topic: it'd be dope if akai were to make another rack mount sampler.

The point is WE ALL deserve better treatment from a $2000 music computer with DNA that spans to December 8, 1988
I can't drag my midi file into the arranger without going to look for what sequence it went to.
I can't load a midi instrument like scaler 2 to any type of track.
I can't believe I'm going to buy that Ableton Push 3 when 12.2 drop with those chord banks and strumming that turns you into Bernie Worrell!

Please do something about this MPCX, AKAI (MPC 60 born on December 1988)!
Ableton Live's first commercial release was on October 30, 2001
The Akai MPC Renaissance was released in 2012
The original Ableton Push(By AKAI) was released on March 5, 2013

BTW My Ableton CONTROL from the MPC X in STANDALONE Mode works AMAZING!

The Blues comes from the Berber slave traders of North Africa that middle manned the African slave trade for the Arabs, who taught West African slaves the music of the Berbers whilst in transit.

Showing a joke of a woman who cheated her way into the Olympics and who doesn't represent the true Hip Hop culture isn't an argument. It's a cherry picking logic fallacy.

If you making any modern music that follows a scale, you can throw a shout out to Pythagoras and the ancient Greeks for inventing the tunings, using maths to determine the relationships between chords etc. Almost everything in most modern music relies on those scales.

I'm not gonna argue with you man, but it would be real sweet if you read some books, traveled outside of your country and educated yourself to improve your perspective on things. There is A LOT of great Hip Hop being made around the world, by great people who are passionate about their craft. Much love and respect to you as human being. Later for whatever gate keeping you feel entitled to.

I'll leave you with something to contemplate. You are in an MPC forum. The MPC was invented by Roger Linn, a white guy, and manufactured by Japanese engineers. Emile Berliner invented the vinyl record and microphone, a German-American. We all in this together bud.

Are we all out of weed this week? Or just me? Shit plays with my emotions. Straight for the throat.

In the end nothing of what any of us say or think really matters it's not our world we are just passengers. Once in a while we get up boogie along the wave and come shooting out the barrel and other times we get ripped under and bash our brains out on the reef below and drowned a bit.

The trick is trying to stay on the wave not make a goal out of localising the spot and being a dick to other wave searchers. I don't surf for the record (I would though) it's just the best way I can explain our passage through this world.

We don't control the currents of nature its not our place to even try, its our job to be at the right spot at the right time to catch the wave and ride that whore to your doom. lol.

Now lets play some fkn turntables and sample the shit outta it! Actually I kinda wanna do a collaboration with someone, anyone wanna mess with me? Pick a genre.

If by books you mean HIS-story books that lie and hide Black culture and inventions yes I can quote some rhetoric.

The instrument to play scales came from Zimbabwe. The Mbira came FIRST BEFORE THE PIANO from the Zambezi (South Africa). THE FIRST PIANO. My kids are from there. I been across the world too homeboy.
Image

STOLEN LIBRARY BOOKS FROM AFRICA. Math that Pythagoras and the Greeks claimed was ALREADY invented by Black people.
Look at the columns inside the Great Pyramids of Africa.

Then look at the columns in ROME.
Bet you didn't know those castles you were visiting were built by
Image
Musical Black MOORES.

Aboriginal Australians identify as Black and refer to themselves as such so they catch hell from the whites like they do in Brazil or Japan. I don't need to fly there. See? No books needed. We in the future now.

You need to leave this Black American music origin story to me. I know what you don't. I was born in the Bricks.
Before you assume I meant any diss I did not. I'm just showing you it doesn't matter if silk was spun into a jacket in Korea.
It's not DOPE until WE wear it. Nobody care if Tinker Hatfield wears his own creations. Michael Jordan is THE GOD of sneaker tech because it is designed AROUND HIM.

Answer me this: Have you clicked on the MPC Legends video I just posted? We give it up to Roger Linn but even he said he ain't SHHH without the GENIUS Black Americans invent ever since WE touched the pads.

WE invented Techno.
We invented Grunge Rock.
We invented Rock and Roll.
We invented THE DRUM

I love all races so let us cook another Kool & The Gang, Isley Brothers, Whitney or George Clinton for you to chase around the globe.
