IM sure IM making a simple error here...but When I go into EDIT mode, and try and copy a track from lets say SEQ1 to SEQ2 so that I dont have to keep programming drums and basslines...I press DO IT, and it doesn't work. I select all the appropriate paramaters, yet when I go into seq 2, nothing is there. I dont understand what Im missing?

I know this is simple..can someone just tell me how they go about copying tracks from 1 seq. to the next? Much appreciation.

iam not exactly sure what the problem... is....

1. when you go into the edit screen.. do you press do it right away
OR 2. DO you... go to the TO section and change that SEQUENCE number of where you want the track to copy to..
.
.
if your doing one... its never gonna work cuz your copying the track to the same sequence your in....
.
.but if your doing 2.. then thats when your really copying the track from one sequence to any that you desire.

Kwest,

Good looking out on that advice. I just had to carefully look over what I was doing. I was copying tracks that weren't already properly assigned. Basically, I would copy SEQ1-track 1 (assigned to DRUM pROGRAM a) TO SEQ 2-TRACK 1 ..but would forget to realize that this track must be assigned to the appropriate program. My MPC is always automatically assigning new tracks to like DRUMPROG C or somethign, So I just had to ensure that everythign was precisely assigned before copying. THANKS!
