My thinkcenter ghetto blaster music computer, (it has two more display ports for tripple display if anyone goes "wow thats a small screen." that's where cardinal or carla goes. reaper on the tv not shown.)

I finally built a new desk for my setup.
Building it was done pretty fast, the hardest part was looking for inspiration for hours because there a thousands of possibilities how to build a perfect desk.
The desk cost me about 100€ and is super sturdy.

To me this seems like the best setup. Everything looks clean and i can reach every unit from my chair.
The setup is dawless with the MPC1000 with JJOS as sequencer, most of the sounds are coming out of the emu since it is the best sounding sampler (imo ).

With the 16 direct outs i‘ve got the possibility to hook up my macbook with the 16 input tascam interface but i think i will not use it that often.

Latest addition is the Behringer Pro 800 and it`s a very fun thing to play with and it sounds really great.

I truly LOVE soundcraft mixers. Impecable sound and they last for decades.

Yeah they are really great. I‘ve got the FX16II and i got it for 250€ in perfect condition.
It has inserts on all channels and even direct outs on all chanels, so you can easyily hook up your interface and build a hybrid setup.

The PDX2000 is great. I bought my first one around 2002 or 2003 since all i did was scratching. Later i got into DJing and therefore i sold the PDX and bought some 1210s because every club has 1210s even though i always liked the PDX more.
Now i don‘t DJ in public anymore and from time to time i do some scratching, so i only need one PDX and a Rane TTM56 (best scratch mixer ever). Still got my 1210s in cases in the attic

I sold my pdx-2000s in the mid 2000's as well as the pmc-07 pro pretty basic battle mixer but solid af. I wish i never sold them. about 5 years later i got a numark battle pak i've not really used all that much. they are strong enough to scratch, but theres no stobes on the platter and no quartzlock so i gotta use em on a conditioner or speeds vary lol. Keep them 12's dont sell em they are worth just leaving to sit until you find a reason to bust em out.

Out is the Ableton Push2, as well as my Focusrite Scarlett 18i20 3rd gen audiointerface and the Lexicon MPX-1.

New: Behringer RD-9 (909 clone) and a Soundcraft UI24R rackmixer.

Studio setup:

Akai Force and Akai MPK mini MK3
Behringer RD-9 and TD3 MO (909 and 303 clones)
Presonus Monitor station v2 and Eris 8 monitors
Soundcraft UI24R rackmixer
Korg N1 synth
Yamaha RM1x (comes back in action as soon as I sell my bassrig - no space at the moment anymore LOL)
PC running Reason 12 and then some stuff on it.....

Well I have to admid: my (home)studio is upstairs in my house, like a 30 seconds walk to my coffee machine and fridge. But I always liked the Marshall fridges though! I have a small room for my music, so a fridge is not the solution, I walk downstair instead.......

I'm selling my bassguitar gear right now to make place for more EDM/Dance oriented stuff, so no fridge!
My bass amp, cabinet and one bassguitar have to go, although it is nice gear, but I don't use them anymore. Also selling a guitar amp and an electric guitar.

In a normal house with neighbours you cannot use bass amplifiers/cabinets - sound will carry over the whole block LOL. So it is there since I live here unused - that is 15 years now, and I do not plan to play in bands anymore, so it is of they go.

I got a small camping fridge in my studio. It's noisy, but it keeps the beer cold and that's all that mathers.
