MPC One+ MIDI Learn mapping CC to "Macro"

I'm trying to setup a controller to control the volume of a drum track. I turn on midi learn, I turn the controller knob, and receive a message that the CC is being sent to "Macro". In Midi Learn the CC the channel, CC number and value are never listed. What is Macro and why is it getting the mapping and not my track?

Is there something I'm missing? I wish I could edit these mappings directly.
