MPC and Sysex files

Hello, I’ve done a bit of research on whether or not MPC X allow Sysex files to pass through and have read conflicting information.
Is it possible? Any work arounds?

My setup I’d like to have working is
MPC>JV2080>Soundcard>MAC>JV plugin editor

MIDI THRU should work as intended. Aside from that the MPC has absolutely no support for sysex messages. The workaround is to buy an older MPC like the MPC 1000 or 2500 that can read sysex.

it should pass sysex over din or usb.

here is a strange way i send my microkorg patches:

Plug my keyboard into mpc with din, then enable controller mode, then send the sysex patch over usb to the gear.
