Inspiration...

Some of my inspiration comes from just having my MPC & set-up . Most people I know who wanna make beats can't even afford an MPC . P#ssy is good for inspiration . If a man hasn't had some trim in a while his mind starts to wander . I also like to have a nice frothy alcoholic beverage by my side while I work (used to be a Old Gold 40oz. but I had to chill on the malt liquor) . I don't know if this is true but someone told me that JayDee said he used to go to the strip club for inspiration (maybe the reason for the 'Welcome to Detriot' cover and all the "bounce,to-the,bounce,to-the,bounce") .

I look to my kids and wife.I want them to have more than they ever imagined.Also ask yourself,Do i want to stay at a job i despise makin' peanuts when i can use my gift and make descent money?It's not all about the money but i can't find anyone who does this to b broke.

Simple things. Reading, music (listening to way too much Bonnie 'Prince' Billy right now), sparring, movies, the flu, working(!)...

Lately, I've been inspired by listening to the freakin radio. My city has a few local acts that are getting a lotta burn on the radio and admitted that they still work a 9-5 until things start happening.
I'm also inspired by the fact that I feel that people NEED to hear my material. Whenever I get busy with other things, and I don't pay the music full attention, somebody will send that email saying that need them beats, and I get busy again brewing up those masterpieces. Good thread.

This is exactly what I wanted! I get inspired just by hearing what gets you inspired!
I have to agree with digital_bastard, workin' is actually a good way to get inspired... the booring every day s**t you have to cope with makes you work as hard as a maddfrakka to get away from there!!
I 've found that now when I work full time in the studio I have to remind myself of these things so that I don't get lazy... I know it's a stupid thing(and I am a spoiled ass MF) but I think it's important to take this work seriously and search within your soul to find the tru essence of your creativity!

Science, Nature, and Mathematics are all great inspiration when it comes to my work as well.
