Is there any reason against completely replacing the motherboard?
The Rockchip 3588 SoCs are 64-bit and can address up to 32GB of RAM.
As far as I understand, MPC is just a "normal" Linux program running on a soc.
Of course, it would have to be a board to which you can connect the daughterboards and fit to the housing.
I'm just brainstorming and I'm a complete novice when it comes to DIY.
